Sampling vicinity of industrial settings for pathogens and GMO identification
OverviewThis study investigated whether potentially harmful microorganisms from research laboratories and biotechnology companies can survive in nearby water systems. It focused on three Dutch cities - Leiden, Delft, and Alphen aan den Rijn - and collected water samples between May and September 2024.
