Opening future biotechnological possibilities by revealing the acclimation and biogenesis of the photosynthetic apparatus in marine algae.
The primary objective of the project is to determine the molecular mechanisms that facilitate regulation and biogenesis of the photosynthetic machinery of the most significant group of eukaryotic phytoplankton, represented here by the model diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum.
